About the role
Boonah is located just one hour west of Brisbane, in the heart of the Scenic Rim. Boonah is a classic country town and the perfect base for exploring the region. Boasting superb surrounding scenery of rugged mountains and peaceful lakes allowing for great scenic drives, bushwalking, mountaineering, sky diving, gliding and water sports.
Assisting with the provision of quality, safe person and family centred care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM). Work may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse (EN).

Accountability and Responsibility

• Is responsible for delegated healthcare practice and to the accountable registered nurse/registered midwife for all activities of care.
• Is responsible for accepting delegated tasks/duties which require basic skills, training and experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Applies all training to standardised practices and procedures, as delegated.
• Role in clinical care
• Performs a range of duties that require basic skills, knowledge, training and experience.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
