Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Assistant IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT department’s operations, ensuring smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, and contributing to the organization’s technological advancement.

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues for staff and stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and equipment
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance analyses to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
  • Train and mentor junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Assist in creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for IT initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of IT management experience
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud computing platforms
  • Proven experience in project management and implementing IT solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in IT security best practices and data protection measures
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus
