OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that our culinary team maintains high standards of food quality and safety while providing a positive dining experience for our guests.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the culinary field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in menu planning and cost control is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $15.60-$18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Develop and implement menu items that reflect seasonal trends and customer preferences.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimizing waste.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, demonstrating hands-on leadership in the kitchen.
