Description:
DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Laboratory Technician in Exercise Physiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for lectures and research projects running in the exercise physiology laboratory. This would include overseeing day to day operations, maintaining supplies, servicing equipment, developing new protocols and providing support and guidance for students and staff using the laboratories.
The Division of Allied Health is a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Exercise and Nutrition Science, Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation, Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition and Food Science. Many of our programmes are professionally accredited by the Association for Nutrition and the British Dietetic Association.
The ideal candidate will be educated to ‘A’ Level (or equivalent) standard to include Biology and will have experience of techniques and skills employed in practical work for Exercise Sciences.
