Responsibilities:

Mott MacDonald’s landscape architecture and urban design team has an exciting opportunity for an assistant landscape architect to join its established landscape team in Cambridge (but other office locations are available nationally), to assist in delivering landscape inputs for projects in the Cambridge area and to support wider landscape projects throughout the team. The ideal candidate will have a high level of personal motivation and in return will be provided with excellent opportunities to develop into a key member of the expanding landscape team and environment division at Mott MacDonald.

The candidate’s typical duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the production of visualisations, conceptual, detailed and associated contract drawings, presentation drawings, schedules, specifications and photomontages for landscape and urban design projects.
  • Undertaking site surveys, both as part of new design projects and in support of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA).
  • Assisting in the analysis, development and technical delivery of landscape, townscape and visual impact assessment as part of the wider EIA process.
  • Assisting in design of BNG inputs to projects, design of hard and soft landscape schemes.
