Infopro Digital group are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at our London office.

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Management Accounts team and become a strong member of our team. Candidates should be well organised with an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. Candidates should have experience in dealing with understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial analysis techniques. We are looking for a good team player who is able to contribute to the success of the Finance team with a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and personal qualities that contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations within our team. This role provides the opportunity to step into a collaborative Finance team and involves producing, value-add financial information and supporting to the management accounting team within the finance team. This is a permanent position to start as soon as possible and offers support.
REQUIREMENTS
- General understanding of preparing financial accounts and management accounts.
- Experience of working in a finance department.
- Good excel skills
- Studying for, or achieved, an Accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA etc).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Must have a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
- Should be a proactive and self-motivated

Responsibilities:
- Participating in month-end and year-end close processes by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with financial reporting requirements and to produce balance sheet reconciliations.
- Helping to analyse costs associated with production, operations, or projects to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
- Assisting with P&L analysis and commentary.
- Assisting in the investigation of variances between actual and budgeted figures to understand reasons for deviations and to provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assisting with forecasting and budgets.
- Assisting in the analysis of financial data to provide insights into business performance, trends, and variances.
- Providing accurate and timely reports to the managers and directors.
- Providing support for the Financial Accounts, Management Accounts, Cash & Subs team when required.
- Assist the finance team in completing the annual audit by providing information and explanations to the auditors.
- Participating in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management, which may involve process improvement initiatives, or other ad hoc tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards in all financial activities.
