REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience within a finance orientated role in the hospitality industry (preferred)
  • Experience in management accounting
  • AAT qualified looking to continue studies onto CIMA / ACCA / ACA.
  • Interest in technical and control aspects of finance.
  • Self-starter who is keen to learn and expand finance & business knowledge.

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a well rounded finance professional, to support and assist the Head of Finance in delivering commercial value across the Experience venues. This role will be varied and will include elements of financial control and commercial finance driving profitability in the venues, while strengthening key technical financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out month end tasks across all Experience venues
  • Producing weekly forecasts and sales reports for both venues
  • Business Partnering with key stakeholders at Kings Street Townhouse and Hale Country Club & Spa to drive P/L performance
  • Processing & reconciling stock movements to deliver accurate catering GP’s
  • Ownership of specific balance sheet areas to ensure thorough reconciliation at a group level whilst expanding own knowledge.
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with the development of “best practice” processes that can be applied across the venues.
  • Be flexible and reactive to incoming project work, such as assisting with the implementation of new IT software and group projects.
  • Support the team and the wider group finance function in both the external audit and tax compliance processes.
