Assistant Manager – Accounting & Tax

• Good Accounting knowledge and able to close the books and reconcile the statements in efficient manner.
• Knowledge of Accounting System Implementation
• The candidate should have at least 3-4 years of relevant work experience in Direct Taxation
• Assisting with tax compliance and ensuring the accurate and timely submission of Corporate Tax Returns, including VAT and Economic Substance requirements.
• Supporting the development of tax strategies to optimize the organization’s tax position and advising on business structuring and cross-border tax matters through Transfer Pricing policies.
• Assist in managing tax risks, handling routine queries from tax authorities, and ensuring adherence to transfer pricing regulations.
• Work closely with the remote tax team, providing support and guidance, and collaborating with external advisors, auditors, and other departments.
• Stays updated on changes to tax regulations and help to implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

QUALIFICATION

• A bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, law, taxation or any related essential fields.
• B.com, Masters, or another related advanced degree
• Having a Professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
