Description:
The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.

The key accountabilities are:
- ; Manage the day-to-day administration, functions and workflow of a team of Registry Officers and Senior Registry Officers.
- ; Determine operational service delivery plans for Registry functions.
- ; Monitor team performance and provide feedback, support, direction and development to build staff and team capabilities.
- ; Apply business plans and policies and provide input to strategic management of Registry.
- ; Contribute to the development, evaluation and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance the Court’s operations, resource allocation and work organisation, to achieve the Court’s strategic objectives.
- ; Oversee case management, court file integrity and ensure quality assurance and compliance requirements are adhered to.
- ; Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain and promote service excellence to meet the needs of Court users.
- ; Resolve complex matters that are escalated by Registry Officers and Senior Registry Officers by providing authoritative and specialist advice
Responsibilities:
The Supreme Court Registry delivers high quality, responsible and flexible administrative, case management, policy and specialist services to the judiciary, legal profession, court users and the public.
An Assistant Manager supports the Manager, Appeals & Crime by overseeing the management of registry staff, the day to day operations of the Registry and management of proceedings.
