ASSISTANT MANAGER - CPS OPERATIONS –SOUTHAMPTON

Working Hours:, 40 hours per week – Includes Weekends and Night Shifts
Salary: £32,136
Summary of Job: -
You’ll support the Manager in running CPS operations, handling tasks such as cruise administration and staff management. Your responsibilities will also include administrative duties like invoicing, staff allocation, and coordinating with various ports for CPS and car move operations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanour

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: -

· To ensure that all operating costs are kept within budget
· Completing labour requests, making sure all operations are correctly manned
· To meet in full the customers expectations with regards to the operational requirements for all customer parking requests.
· To Manage and plan compound movements in between vessel arrivals, maximising productivity and efficiencies.
· Maintain strict control of drivers, in order to reduce the risk of damage to customer’s vehicles.
· To produce timely and accurate reports, when requested by the Operations Director and the Home Port Operations teams.
· To ensure that all company equipment, specific to the cruise parking operation is kept maintained, and serviceable.
· Ensure that all ‘customer’ facing staff maintain the highest standards at all times, attitude and appearance.
· Liaise closely with the Cruise Manager during the vessel operation.
· To be flexible and fully support the Companies, business aims and objectives.
· To enforce the Companies discipline and grievance procedures.
· To keep up to date, and available to attend training courses when required.
· Maintain the companies, quality process and compliance standards / procedures.
· Ensure that the ISPS requirements are met and adhered too at all times, including compound security.

GENERAL OFFICE DUTIES:

· Perform general office duties as required, ensuring smooth operations of day-to-day tasks.
