This role is to support Associate Dean (Research Programme) to manage Interdisciplinary Collaboration Core (ICC) courses for Research Students as follows:

  • Plan and organize ICC courses, workshop/seminars and activities
  • Plan class timetabling, including booking of class venues
  • Work with Colleges/Schools and course instructors (internal/external) on arrangement of class allocation and teaching assignments
  • Point of contact and support to students and schools on all matters related to ICC courses, including liaising with other relevant offices
  • Handle and manage ICC courses registration and to arrange students from various disciplines in every ICC class
  • Monitor class attendances
  • Handle students’ results including arrangement of meeting for Board of Examiners to finalise students’ results
  • Manage all payments to course instructors
  • Manage any other administrative matters related to ICC courses

Requirements

  • A recognized university degree (in any discipline)
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in the tertiary education sector
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Possess good communication and writing skills
  • Proficient in most Microsoft Office application software
  • People-oriented and a team player
