Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing all aspects of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available at all times
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
  • Work closely with the Inventory Manager to develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures
  • Train and supervise inventory staff, ensuring they are following proper procedures and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
  • Address any inventory-related issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for inventory needs
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels and usage for management review
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management
