JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years of experience as UI5 /Fiori developer / architect with good knowledge of backend development / configuration (OData services, Annotations, ABAP, RFC/BAPI) preferably in S/4 HANA environment of which 1+ years of management experiences
• Strong knowledge and working experience in UI5 related programming like Javascript, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, MVC, Angular JS. Should be able to perform end-to-end configuration of FIORI.
• Good work experience in developing and configuring of custom & extend standard SAPUI5 & FIORI applications in FIORI launch pad using Eclipse and SAP WEB IDE.
• Good work experience in developing SAP Fiori element using CDS view.
• Solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems
• Good exposure in requirement gathering, system design and architecture, Functional Spec, software development process.
• Strong debugging skills using web browser developer tool and SAP UI5 Inspector browser extension.
• Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform, including SAP Fiori Cloud, SAP Cloud Portal, and SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services.
• Experience with SAP BTP BAS, Workflow.
• Experience in ABAP Work Bench, BADI, User-exits, Interfaces, Classes, BAPI’s, SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Function Modules, RFCs, Web services.
• Experience and demonstrated expertise in building extension of ABAP program, CDS, BOPF.
• Functional knowledge in FICO, TR, RE, MM and PS will be advantageous.

THE ROLE

The SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer is responsible to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain SAP Fiori applications aligned with business requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and customize SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across devices.
• Extend and modify standard SAP Fiori apps to meet specific business needs, while adhering to Fiori design principles and maintaining consistency in user interfaces.
• Integrate SAP Fiori/UI5 applications with backend systems, utilizing OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Gateway to provide real-time data to users.
• Configure and enhance the Fiori Launchpad with tiles, catalogs, and groups to create a personalized and efficient entry point for applications.
• Optimize performance of Fiori/UI5 applications through efficient coding, asynchronous loading, and proper data binding techniques.
• Design and deliver complex Fiori applications, including analytical apps involving graphs and charts, leveraging standard services/libraries available on the SAP Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with other development teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP Fiori applications with backend systems.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams/business users to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Deliver the required systems/applications/solutions on time and based on agreed budget and specifications.
• Develop, customize, enhance, fix, and maintain codes, applications, and systems.
