Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- To contribute to the turnover and profitability of the Fitzgerald Group by taking full responsibility for ensuring all customers experience a satisfying visit and receive the highest standard of goods and services by been attentive, responsive and anticipate the customers’ needs while creating and maintaining customer friendly relationships.
- Identify any training needs of staff and deliver ‘on the job’ training as appropriate. Ensure the training and development of bar staff enabling effective job performance, teamwork attitude, and clear communications. Supervise and motivate your team to ensure performance of staff is developed to the best of their potential.
- Use your skills and talent to manage all aspects of the smooth running of the hotel bar and make use of your experience to assist in the development and growth of the bar to its full capacity. Direct and coordinate activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximise turnover and profitability at every opportunity.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Guest Satisfaction:
- Responsible for ensuring all customers experience a satisfying visit and receive the highest standard of goods and services while maintaining and creating customer friendly relationships.
- Even in difficult situations make sure all customer complaints are dealt with in a friendly manner and within a reasonable time frame.
- Report all customer feedback to the staff, ensuring speedy corrective action
- Spot checking staff to ensure procedures are in line with the group polices
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage your time effectively to ensure all tasks are carried out on a priority basis.
- Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy, maintaining confidentiality at all times in respect of all Group related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and/or sensitive information.
- To carry out reasonable instructions given by the General Manager, Directors, Head office and any additional duties as outlined and detailed by the Senior Management team.
