Description:
New Exiting Opening! Med Fusion ltd is now hiring. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager who is looking to develop and grow into a Restaurant Manager position & beyond. This new venture right next to Snaresbrook Station. As an Assistant Manager you will support the daily operations of our all day grill concept, while learning financials & other provided training. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities leading by example, with excellent communication skills and positivity. ensuring a great experience for both customers and staff. This role involves supervising team members, managing tasks efficiently, and contributing to the overall success and growth of our business.
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with staff and customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished in a timely manner.
- Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service expectations.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimise workflow within the team.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Promote a positive team environment through effective team management and collaboration.
SKILLS
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in retail management.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in restaurant management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Reservations, Confirmations, Wines, Cheeses & Japanese food knowledge is a bonus.
- Ability to supervise and manage a diverse team effectively.
- High hospitality standards, preferably Michelin star or five star hotel background.
- Proficient time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to sell products effectively.
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions.
- Experience in retail management is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
