SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting Maquiladora Senior Manager and Manager managing on freight forwarding outbound related functions and personnel performance. This position oversee the planning, coordination, and transportation of all customers’ products and equipments to meet internal delivery target.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Six (6) - Nine (9) Years of Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Required
  • Seven (7) - Eleven (11) Years of experience in Logistics or Supply ChainPreferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
  • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
  • Seldomly lift and carry minimum 5lbs to maximum 15 lbs

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct day-to-day operation and audit delivery performance for achieving company goals
  • Daily release of equipment to carriers & follow up on carrier performance with on-time equipment pick up & delivery
  • Coordinate for daily outgate performance to surpass production & meet customer requirement
  • Timely and accurate communication with all related parties ( Carrier, Customer, MQ specialists)
  • Troubleshoot any operational issues & provide guidance to outbound staffs
  • Monitor Yard inventory aging & in-transit aging to improve outbound operations
  • Assist HOD and HOT in outbound operation/ action plans to achieve periodic goals
  • Process management of but not limited to: outbound shipment releases to carriers (trailers, chassis, items in trailer), cargo shipment (Load-out) coordination & managements (i.e. Diecast, Powertrain Factory outbound), and In-house “Dedicated Truck” carrier management for efficient & effective carrier utilization
  • Follow guideline to ensure appropriate AP/AR rates are maintained to achieve expected MQ profitability
  • Monitor yard performance (inventory dwell time) to improve yard turn goals are achieved
  • Monitor carrier pick up time to improve delivery performance is achieved on a periodic basis
  • Ensure team members are following appropriate SOP established by HOD/HOT accordingly
  • Process Improvement
  • Prepare for short/mid/long term of business plans, analysis & forecast reports.
  • Assist in building pricing structure by breaking down various cost components
  • Market Pricing analysis & report generations
  • Carrier Management/ System Operations
  • Qualify new carrier for expansion of MQ capacity & endure maintain appropriate carrier capacity for MQ operation
  • Participate in RFP bidding process & maintain appropriate AP/AR to ensure MQ’s profitability
  • Maintain accurate TMS shipment release data & ensure timely POD audit
  • Utility Player to support all MQ operational needs
  • Assist team and other departments in order to combat discrepancies and fulfill customer needs including POD auditing, profit and loss reporting, damage and total loss reporting, unit availability, and transit/carrier availability
  • Recommend and implement strategies to improve department performance
  • Other duties as assigned
