Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Operational Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing core business functions, including B2B client projects, eCommerce operations, and team management. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role ensures smooth daily operations, drives sales, and enhances customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce, B2B coordination, and leadership, with a hands-on approach to managing workflows and team performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with proven success in managing teams.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B Project Coordination and eCommerce operations.
  • Combines strong creative skills with meticulous attention to detail, delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in online sales platforms (Shopify preferred) and digital content management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience troubleshooting operational and technical challenges.
  • Passion for luxury gifting and delivering premium customer experiences.
  • Experience in writing and contributing to business proposals.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in inventory management and product development.
  • Shopify and Klaviyo knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies and content optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead training and team-building initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee and contribute to daily operations, including client orders, online and in-store sales, and gift production workflows, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor team members, set performance goals, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Process Development and Oversight: Proven ability to contribute to and oversee the creation of strong, efficient operational processes that enhance productivity and maintain quality standards.
  • Creative and Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates innovative thinking and a resourceful approach to problem-solving, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • B2B Client Coordination: Oversee and assist in managing corporate gifting projects, acting as the main point of contact for clients. Plan and deliver custom orders on time and within budget.
  • eCommerce & Website Management: Maintain and optimize the company’s eCommerce platform, ensuring accurate product listings, SEO optimization, and seamless customer experiences.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate on digital and in-store marketing campaigns, create engaging content for social media and newsletters, and drive promotional initiatives.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock deliveries, and maintain organized tracking systems.
  • Customer Experience: Lead the customer service team to provide timely, professional communication and uphold high satisfaction standards.
  • Data & Reporting: Analyze sales and performance data, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes and drive growth.
