About the Role
As an Assistant Relationship Manager in Diversified and Specialist Industries (DSI) – Property & Health team, you’ll play a key role in helping to acquire, grow and retain a quality portfolio of property (development & investment) & health customers. Your role is to partner with the Senior Relationship Manager to support your portfolio in all aspects of customer service, compliance, processes, systems, and governance

What will your day look like?
As an Assistant Manager, you will also have the opportunity to:
Maintain a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures
Maintain control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process
Act in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach
Proactively develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs
Provide solution towards account maintenance and simple customer requests
Support the Senior Relationship Manager with management of a portfolio of Property (development & investment) & Health customers
Collaborate with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customers’ needs
Engage specialist teams when required
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Property Industry experience: Current and ongoing understanding of property industry trends. This includes in depth understanding of the drivers of the property industry, practical knowledge, market & competition factors, key customer success indicators, supplier/contract norms, credit approval drivers, and understanding of strategy application within the industry.
Relationship Management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Portfolio Management: The selection, prioritisation and management of a portfolio of work/and or customers in line with its strategic objectives and capacity to deliver. The goal is to balance change initiatives and business-as-usual while optimising return on investment.
Customer Solutions: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options, that meet those needs.
Credit Analysis: The ability to assess a customer’s ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors such as character, capital, capacity to repay, collateral (security) and conditions (the 5Cs of credit).
Fulfilment: The end-to-end execution of a process, or part thereof, to achieve a customer or end user outcome.
Data Interpretation & analysis: Collecting, profiling and analysing data to translate into meaningful insights to problem solve and/or inform business or customer decisions and deliver solutions.
Compliance and policy management: Identifying and interpreting applicable laws, rules, codes and standards to create and/or manage policies, processes and procedures, including how these are organised, reviewed and communicated.
Quality assurance: Ensuring the quality and viability of working solutions through quality practices and rigorous testing with a customer centric focus.
