JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Reservations, specializing in the China market, will manage quotations, bookings, invoicing, and reservation processes for inbound travel. This role requires strong expertise in handling Chinese client needs, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in reservations or travel operations, with a focus on the China market.
- Proficient in reservation systems and invoicing tools.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese travel trends and preferences.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:
- Quotation Management:Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients and travel partners in the China market.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure the best rates and availability.
- Booking Coordination:Oversee and process reservations for accommodation, transportation, tours, and other travel services.
- Ensure accurate input of booking details in the reservation system and timely confirmations.
- Invoicing and Payment Handling:Generate and manage invoices for confirmed bookings.
- Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection.
- Client Relationship Management:Act as the primary contact for Chinese clients and partners, providing prompt and professional service.
- Address client queries and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration and Supervision:Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior reservation staff as required.
- Market Knowledge and Reporting:Stay updated on trends and preferences within the China market.
- Analyze booking data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
