We seek a Assistant Manager/ Senior Assistant Manager of Marketing Communications for the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

As the Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager of Marketing Communications, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. This person will:

  • Manage and oversee all social media platforms, creating engaging content and analyzing performance metrics to drive effective communication.
  • Collaborate with undergraduate, postgraduate, and student teams to develop and enhance marketing communications strategies.
  • Create compelling content to promote the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs, showcasing key achievements and features.
  • Collaborate closely with faculty members to gather and develop content information, including research findings and academic accomplishments.
  • Write and edit science articles for the school’s website, ensuring accuracy and readability for a broad audience.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand identity that highlights the school’s achievements and unique offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications or media, with proven skills in content creation, social median engagement and interpersonal communication.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected issues with professionalism.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a detailed oriented mindset, enthusiastic and passionate about education and promoting academic excellence.
