Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee various aspects of course administration, faculty management, curriculum implementation, event coordination, finance, procurement, and office administration within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate collaboration between colleges/schools/departments and the EEE Academic Programme Office (APO) regarding instructor assignments, academic coordination, and curriculum matters.
  • Manage undergraduate curriculum matters, including liaising with course coordinators, course instructors, and timetable planning.
  • Work with HR and schools to appoint and reappoint part-time instructors, process medical and teaching payment claims, and assist in performance appraisals.
  • Support the submission of academic proposals and actively support and coordinate the implementation of revamped curricula and new initiatives.
  • Provide program-related advisory, administrative support, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing for program accreditation and organizing academic-related events.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Meticulous with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and student information/database management systems.
  • Knowledge in basic video editing, web-design, and database management is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a warm and approachable disposition.
