JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an Assistant Manager - Technical Underwriting & Claims to work with our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering the technical operations of our underwriting and claims department.

• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Senior level
• Experience Length : 5 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1st degree BSC/HND, MSC will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2–5 years working experience in the Insurance Industry.
• Must be a member or associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London or Nigeria.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Re-assessing risk when policies come up for renewal or modification.
• Source the Insurance market for quotes and competitive insurance premiums.
• Making insurance decisions that will be favourable to the client.
• Negotiate and define the specific terms of insurance policies with the insurers.
• Collect appropriate and accurate information required to assess potential clients and decide on the acceptable risk for a policy.
• Prepare reports that detail risk assessment findings for decision-making
• Communicating with potential clients, Policyholders, and insurance companies.
• Ensuring Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards.
• Follow applicable insurance laws.
