Description:

WE’VE BREWED UP YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY - BECOME AN ASSISTANT MANAGER WITH OUR TEAM TODAY!

What you’ll do:

  • It’s more than coffee and donuts, first and foremost - you sell smiles and a warm Canadian welcome!
  • You’re focused creating an EXCEPTIONAL guest experience making each and every visit count
  • You promote the goals and targets of the restaurant, whether its speed of service, guest satisfaction, Team Member engagement, or upselling - you communicate clear expectations and make achieving these goals fun!
  • You’re not only able to run a smooth and effective shift on the floor, but you also support with some back-end tasks like inventory, ordering, product quality, standards adherence, restaurant goal-setting, team member recruitment, and team training/development/coaching.

How you will do it:

  • You’re a people person who cares about your Team Members as people and individuals.
  • You sweat the small stuff, showing care for the restaurant, and treating it like its your own.
  • You’re the role model for great behaviour and following standards. You explain the ‘why’ and develop your team to success one day at a time!
  • You have grit and perseverance - not every day will be easy, but we do our best to have fun and bring excitement every day!
  • You are excited about helping others and creating a lasting impact in our community
  • You’re focused on being inclusive - creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful workplace environment for your team
  • You’re cool as a cucumber using your head and your heart when you need to make the tough calls and you demonstrate a humble attitude focused on learning from your mistakes
  • Lead with a servant leadership style, high integrity, and honesty - you care about doing the right things right (even when no one is watching)!

Why we do it:

  • We pride ourselves on being the largest quick service chain in Canada, serving 7 out of 10 cups of coffee sold in Canada each day
  • We truly believe that we have an impact on our Team (Family) each day. We help our teams achieve their dreams
  • We make a difference in the communities we serve through programs like Smile Cookie, Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, Timbits Youth Sport Programs and much more
  • We have so much fun kickstarting the day for so many guests…we actually are sometimes the first face they see in the morning :)

Why us:

  • We want you to join our team… we are not just a J.O.B, we are your 2nd family. That means we will have fun together, learn about each other, work in a diverse environment, you’ll experience and learn new things, laugh together, cry together (hopefully not often, but we’re here for you)
  • We provide scholarship opportunities for those studying
  • We promote from within; those that work hard, motivate others and want to grow into a leadership role can do this
  • We care about being the best, average is not good enough in everything we do. Who wants to work with an average employer, who wants to go to an average restaurant?
  • Training and certification opportunities
  • Recognition programs and annual service award bonuses
  • We have a super awesome Health and Dental plan
  • Team events (think go karting, escape rooms, dueling pianos and so much more!)
  • Oh yeah, you’ll get paid too - that’s important

Shift Types:

  • Many of our restaurants operate 24 hours a day. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll need to be flexible with your availability to be available when the restaurant and your team needs you. With your busy Assistant Manager role, we’ll work together to help you create a balanced lifestyle.

REQUIREMENTS
