Description:

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily clinic operations, accounting functions, physician relations and team management. As an assistant manager they will oversee the implementation of companywide programs and timely reporting of clinic data. Reporting to: Clinic Leader / Regional Leader

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
  • Demonstrate effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Complete weekly technologist and/or admin schedule.
  • Create all staff modality schedule.
  • Update changes on RIS.
  • Understand modalities to ensure efficient coverage for sick calls and vacation.
  • Work with leaders on efficiency and workflow within the clinic.
  • Review, confirm and complete payroll entries in software.
  • Manage patient and physician concerns in a timely manner and escalate to senior leadership as required.
  • Facilitate completion and submission of incident reports.
  • Assist with facility maintenance by building superintendent, or handyman, and escalate to management when required.
  • Scanning patients and facilitating patient workflow during the day.
  • Manage ordering of supplies and processing POs.
  • Organize equipment PMs, maintenance and escalate to management as required.
  • Assist in hiring, new staff training, reference checks, student orientation and schedule.
  • Act as a clinical preceptor to sign off for assessments.
  • Monitor and report any technical/quality issue to management.
  • Record and document all clinic staff meeting minutes on WELL Health Diagnostic Centres meeting template.
  • Collaborate with JHSC committee to identify issues – escalate to management.
  • Escalate employee concerns i.e. payroll, policy and procedure changes/ adherence to management.
  • TLD Submission.
  • Assist with CPSO Inspections, compiling data, records, and employee and radiologist information.
