Position: Assistant Night Manager (Fixed Term Contract - 6 months)
Location: Osprey Hotel Naas, Co. Kildare
Osprey Hotel has a superb opportunity, based in Naas, Co. Kildare for an Assistant Night Manager to join the management team who are ready to welcome you on board!

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You must be hardworking, goal oriented, ambitious individual to join our management team. Reporting to the Night Manager this position requires a high calibre individual who seeks a career path in the hospitality trade.
The successful candidate will have an energetic hands-on approach to work in the hotel with a good atmosphere in a very busy environment. We are looking for a strong team motivator with a track record in training and high standards. The successful candidate will be outgoing with excellent guest contact. You will have strong people management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The Assistant Night Manager’s role is a key position within the management team and involves assisting the Night Manager in dealing with guest enquiries, ensuring guest comfort, safety and security at all times.

Duties Include

• Assist the Night Manager with the nightly operation within the hotel
• Dealing with late check-ins and early check-outs
• Ensuring the building is secure
• Ensuring that guest privacy and security is adhered to at all times
• Control switchboard
• Maintain fire register
• Meeting room set up
• Ensuring night porters duties are carried out effectively
• Post of relevant F&B bills
• Bar
• Cash handling
• Instilling customer service ethic in all staff
