About the Role
The Assistant Nursing Director (ND) provides contemporary strategic, operational and professional nursing leadership and management for the Surgical Ambulatory Services in the Division of Surgery PAH, within an expansive and/or complex environment.
In collaboration with the Nursing Director, the role provides the coordination and responsibility for service delivery, human and material management, expertise in health care team communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision.
The position also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the Nursing and Division of Surgery Executive team. The role works collaboratively and supports the Health Service priorities and the strategic direction and vision for the Nursing profession.
