DESCRIPTION
Our Langley client is seeking a permanent Assistant Operations Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of services related to fencing, portable toilets, and waste management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Fencing Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of fencing solutions. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality work.
- Portable Toilet Management: Supervise the maintenance and sanitation of portable toilet facilities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Waste Management: Manage waste collection and disposal processes. Monitor waste management contracts and ensure effective and environmentally friendly practices.
- Operational Support: Assist the Operations Manager in daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Team Coordination: Lead and support a team of field staff and subcontractors. Provide training and ensure high standards of performance.
- Customer Relations: Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to services.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including service delivery, resource utilization, and budget adherence.
Successful Candidate:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in fencing, portable toilets, or waste management
- Experience relating to the trucking sector will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
