Description:
Due to continued growth, we at HPS are looking for an experienced Manager or Supervisor who has a genuine passion for delivering a high standard of service and quality. The challenge is to deliver on targets and objectives by leading, inspiring and developing your people and sites to consistently deliver for the customer. You will take great care in your work, have the ability to fulfil the role and have a strong work ethic to help this business grow. This person will be reporting into Operations Manager.
As an Assistant Operations Manager you would be responsible for a portfolio encompassing Cleaning and Security Contracts across the island of Ireland, delivering professional services to our customers whilst maintaining the core values of Horizon Property Support.
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday, with nights and weekends as required and therefore be available for emergencies outside of normal working hours.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A checkable personal history including periods of education, employment, travel and unemployment
- Prior experience of working in a similar operational role, ideally within the facility services industry
- A valid security industry licence (PSA and/or SIA). Training and accreditation will be supported if required
- A valid driving license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting both internally and externally
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to successfully manage a team
- Track record of working in a fast paced and demanding environment
Salary and benefits

Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 35,000, plus car allowance (£4,800 per annum)

Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of operational delivery, including providing support, absence management, discipline, grievance, and recruitment activities
- Acting as a role model and always behaving in line with our company values
- Driving employee engagement by personal interaction and engagement with your team in order to develop and coach them in their duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring all aspects of the required services are being delivered to the customers’ satisfaction and in accordance with the contract
- Ensuring there are sufficient trained, licenced and vetted staff working at all times to meet customer and contract requirements
- Ensuring contract required training and screening / vetting has been completed for all staff
- Developing professional customer relationships, responding appropriately to customer requests and concerns
- Completing risk assessments and site evaluations as well as completing monthly performance reports and billing schedules
