Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager

We are led by seasoned professionals with over 80 years combined industry experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning (EPCIC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of production assets
Position Summary
The Assistant Manager, Operations, is responsible for supporting the Operations Delivery Manager in the effective execution of site operations, ensuring all project deliverables, staffing, and financial objectives are met. The role requires strong project management skills, commercial acumen, and expertise in proposal writing to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Essential Job Function
Assist in the planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering and service projects.
Track project scope, goals, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present project progress status reports, driving regular meetings to update the team on the progress of open projects.
Participate in the preparation and review of technical documentation, ensuring customer requirements and scope of work are accurately captured and addressed.
Lead project lessons learned sessions and document outcomes to improve future project execution.
Support the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring all commercial and contractual conditions align with the company’s business objectives.
Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) and review techno-commercial vendor offers to ensure they meet project and company standards.
Assist in the development of service tender packages, vendor bid evaluations, and recommendations for contract awards.
Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals in accordance with customer requirements and internal processes.
Monitor service quality and initiate corrective actions to improve processes and client satisfaction.
Provide technical and operational support to the sales and business development teams, including proper pricing and scope-of-work definition for service project opportunities.
Assist in the coordination of all activities related to acquiring and executing O&M services contracts.
Contribute to the development of best practices and tools for project execution and management, maintenance, and equipment optimization.
Support the planning and execution of maintenance and major shutdowns, managing the commissioning and start-up of new projects and plant modifications.
Adhere to and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and ensure all projects comply with required policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact during project execution and proposal stages.
Interface cross-functionally within the company and communicate effectively with external resources, including OEMs, third-party service providers, and government agencies.
Enhance the company’s reputation and relationship with key stakeholders, customers, and accounts.

Education: Minimum of Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering, MSC/MBA will be an advantage
Minimum Experience: 8 years of experience in operations management, project management, or a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
