JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in cake decorating. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries and desserts that delight our customers while adhering to food safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating, and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating visually appealing desserts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
- Prepare and bake sourdough , baguette , hamburger buns
- Assist in the preparation of other food items as needed within the kitchen environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following proper food handling procedures.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair while ensuring consistency in quality.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
