About your new Role

As part of the Lending team you will be assisting in the preparation and management of commercial property lending opportunities from loan enquiry and submission through settlement, drawdowns, and final repayment:

  • Prepare Indicative Letter of Offers for sign off / issue by Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Prepare loan submissions for new loans under supervision from Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Work with Lending Operations team to ensure smooth and punctual settlement of loans (including pre-settlement checklist), keeping Senior Portfolio Managers abreast of status / timing.
  • Maintain and update cash flow forecasts for each loan.
  • Prepare Variation memos for loans to be reviewed by Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Liaising with external lawyers and Lending Operations in relation to settlement of new loans.
  • File set up and management of the folders for auditing and compliance.
  • Forecasting and data management.

About you

You have been working in commercial lending and are passionate about the industry and career focused:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial lending associate position
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong numerical and financial modelling skills.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Commercial property development experience
  • A proactive approach and team first mentality
