Assistant Practitioner / Nurse Associate Community Nursing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate in Brentwood Billericay Integrated Community Team
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate for this exciting opportunity to work within the Integrated Community Nursing Team within Brentwood and Billericay. The team are a forward-thinking and innovative service that is community based.
The post will primarily be based at one of our sites in Brentwood or Billericay as required and undertaking home visits across the locaility on a daily basis .
The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, carers and other members of the MDT.
We are interested in hearing from both Assistant Practitioners and Nurse Associate’s with proven clinical and communication skills to work as part of our friendly, supportive and innovative team. Previous experience in a community nursing team is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to utilise a range of skills and experience gained in clinical practice to assist the registered clinician to undertake comprehensive and holistic assessments.
Car driver and access to a car for work are essential

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement – Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,136 and a maximum payment of £1,915 per annum pro rata).
