• Supporting buyers in implementing the supplier, bundling and market strategy as part of the global orientation of purchasing;
• Optimization of the supply chain in terms of costs, liquidity, quality and logistics;
• Independent implementation and evaluation of global tenders and requests for quotations;
• Determining stock levels and requirements;
• Creating and tracking framework agreements and orders to ensure the availability of goods;
• Conducting price and condition negotiations;
• Supplier management;
• Tool process management (tool ordering, approval process) (Ariba Spend Management Workflow);
• Implementation of agreed savings measures, e.g. coordination of phase in/phase out;
• Creation and coordination of change requests, special releases and scrapping;
• Reporting and tracking of purchasing figures and master data maintenance in SAP;
• Regular communication of system-supporting evaluations to the Global Procurement team;
• Invoice verification;
• Intensive communication and coordination between international suppliers and internal departments (QM, R&D, scheduling, category management, internal plants, etc.);
• Taking on smaller projects with a few new technical products up to series maturity within the Stage Gate process.
