OVERVIEW OF JOB

Are you ready to join the UK’s biggest hit music radio brand? We are looking for an Assistant Producer to join the world-class team at Capital, working with some of the biggest names in radio!

• Supporting the Senior Producer by prepping the studio for each live show and ensuring the team have everything they need to create the UK’s most exciting Breakfast show
• Preparing and managing callers for interactive show features and games, ensuring smooth execution and communication with on-air talent.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of daily show features, interviews, and story arcs, working with the team to create compelling content.
• Managing listener interactions (callers, texts, and social media) and collating these for the show’s use.
• Documenting ideas discussed during post-show meetings and updating relevant show planning documents.
• Carrying out proactive research on artists and topics to enhance on-air discussions and maintain up-to-date content.
