JOB DESCRIPTION
Assistant Producer, Digital & Radio, Classic FM
Reporting of the Role
This role reports to Digital Managing Editor, Classic FM
Responsibilities:
- Writing and creating engaging, SEO-optimised website features as the core writer for ClassicFM.com
- Optimising website content for Classic FM’s social channels, in collaboration with Classic FM’s digital team
- Working collaboratively with wider Global teams to create email and push content
- Creating and updating features and radio index pages for radio programmes
- Updating Classic FM’s playlist information for the website and Global Player app
- Assisting with radio production tasks including updating the on-air studio music logs
- Developing strong relationships with Classic FM’s radio production team
- Editing and circulating Classic FM’s radio press schedule
- Evaluating website activities through analytics tools to report back to the editorial teams, and make recommendations for future activity
- Creating bespoke video content and carrying out interviews with artists and musicians where applicable
