Overview:
Are you passionate about data and looking for a new career to get comfortable in? Jordan’s Furniture is looking for an Assistant Product Analyst to join our dynamic merchandising team. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is based out of Taunton, MA. Once fully trained, this position may provide you the ability to work from home 1 to 2 days per week. The pay range for this position is between $19.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Product Analyst; you will be responsible for placing and monitoring special order and stock purchase orders with furniture vendors to ensure timely delivery. Acting as a liaison between the stores, warehouse and call center, you will assist in solving any issues that occur. Use your analytical and clerical skills to accomplish the following duties:
- Responds to and researches inquiries from call center, stores, warehouse and vendors in a timely manner
- Acts as a liaison between Jordan’s Furniture and vendor factory representatives to solve any issues that occur
- Prices G sku Product and places all special order purchase orders
- Create all parts skus, maintain part sku information and maintain Parts VLU with correct sku and component information
- Creates all parts purchase orders
- Monitor and update all merchandise and parts purchase orders
- Works with Logistics and Receiving departments to resolve shortages and overages on purchase orders
- Assists in running all daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
- Analyzes vendor performance relating to cost, shipping times, customer service, returns, and billing practices for parts and communicates any issues to management
- Assists in obtaining vendor authorizations for merchandise repairs or returns with factories/manufacturing representatives
- Assists warehouse personnel in identifying mis-shipped merchandise and parts as needed
- Assists in labeling and supplying the stores with point of purchase sales information
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
- Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor
