Description:
Overview:
To support the Cluster team by leading projects and technical workstreams. This role is required to work cross functionally to develop products and manage RDQ projects from design through to launch (depending on product category). This person has leading role in specifications and artwork for the Cluster/MU across all product categories (cluster and central).
Responsibilities:
- Technical project management of NPD & EPD projects in accordance with the agreed procedures to ensure successful and timely delivery of the projects
- Good knowledge of key ingredients, supply chains & manufacturing processes through conducting trials & regular contact with suppliers, procurement & SUs
- Provides accurate technical data throughout allocated projects as well as supporting business reporting and consumer services
- Build & maintain strong relationships with colleagues in R&D & other functions (MU’s, SU’s, TQS, Procurement & the Category Marketing).
- Maintain a constant awareness of competitor activity
- Awareness of consumer habits, practices, usage, needs & preference drivers within the allocated product area.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Science Degree with 1+ years experience working in a FMCG food business
- Experience in specification writing and legal labelling
- English speaking incl technical language
- Full driving licence (travel required)
- Experience working with a pan-European team or in the frozen food sector is a benefit
