QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, or a related field and will complement our current Criminal Justice faculty’s expertise in clinical forensic psychology. Applications are encouraged from those whose scholarship critically addresses the criminal justice system. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with an active research program and publication record in one or more of the following areas: policing, corrections, crime trends, or criminal victimization. Early career scholars are highly encouraged to apply.
- The successful applicant will be expected to maintain a robust research program in a virtual environment and be able to provide research training opportunities for Criminal Justice students.
- Experience in distance learning and familiarity with digital teaching technologies would also be preferred assets.
