Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is seeking a full-time assistant professor in the Master of Health Administration Program for a 10 month appointment. Primary responsibility for the faculty member focuses on providing effective online instruction and a supportive environment for student learning, service and scholarship.
The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree from an accredited university. Demonstrated effectiveness in online teaching in relevant areas of healthcare administration is strongly desired. Professional experience in health care management, health policy, healthcare finance or population health is preferred. Candidates who have a completed doctorate in a discipline related to health administration, including but not limited to, public health, health services, policy analysis, relevant social sciences (health economics, political science, sociology), or related areas are encouraged to apply.
The preferred candidate will have online teaching strengths that support courses such as Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Leadership, US Health and Medical Systems, Financing Health, Population Health, and Health Policy for the graduate and undergraduate program. The potential to develop additional courses in the candidate’s area of expertise are available.
