ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN ACCOUNTING
The Department of Accounting at LSE invites applications from outstanding candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in Accounting.
Those specialising in any area of accounting are encouraged to apply, although when making recruiting decisions we will take into account teaching needs and priority areas as the ongoing development of the department and composition of the faculty may require. Candidates will have:
- A completed PhD, or be close to obtaining a PhD, in accounting, or related area, by the post start date.
- A clear, well developed and viable strategy for outstanding research that has the potential to result in leading publications in accounting.
- Ability to teach accounting at under- and post-graduate level, ideally evidenced by prior experience in teaching.

Candidates will also be expected to make relevant service and citizenship contributions as appropriate for early-career colleagues.
The appointment is expected to commence no later than 1 September 2025.
