JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Advanced Computing Systems (DACS) at Maastricht University is looking for a new colleague supporting our cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, embedded systems, human-computer and human-robot interfaces. AI-powered wearable technologies such as wearable sensors, smart glasses (e.g. for extended reality), and wearable robots play a central role in addressing urgent societal challenges in areas such as smart manufacturing, logistics, agriculture and healthcare. Our ideal candidate has:

  • A PhD degree in Wearable Technologies, Immersive Technologies, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a strongly related field;
  • Preferably at least 2 years working experience in an academic environment post-PhD;
