Assistant Project Engineer

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL FOR THE JOB:

• Preferably with past experience in the machinery, logistics and/or shipping industry.
• Business etiquette.
• Able to learn/speak Japanese.
• Possess a Class 3 manual driving license.
• Forklift license (Company will sponsor for forklift license course if candidate doesn’t possess this license).
• Sales experience in lifting/elevator.
• Oversee/ handle site project dealings.
• Knowledge in WSHE compliance rules and regulations.
• Knowledge in site technical operations.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess good communication and management skills.
• Experience in project operation skills.
• Attentive or meticulous to details.
• Ability to multi-task, priortize and manage time effectively.
• Positive, willing to accept challenges.
• Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced shipping environment.
• A team player and willing to take ownership of an opportunity and hands on every aspect of the job.
• Punctuality and good attendance is a MUST.

• Attend and oversee site project(s) as an assistant project engineer.
• Representing our company to promote, offer, seal and sell our products/services.
• Maintain customer relationship/ satisfaction.
• Commute to PSA port for shipping documentation submission.
• Deliver ship chandelling supplies.
• Update management frequently on project(s) development.
• Submit weekly report(s) in-parallel with ongoing project(s).
• Forecast logistics shipment on stocks projection.
• Warehouse inventory control and management.
• Able to commit overtime when rushing for project(s) handover or when required.
• Any other duties related to this role.
