Description:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
This is a remote and field- based role

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Operational experience delivering services within a healthcare setting
  • Previous Project Management experience
  • Experience of working with LEAN/Sigma 6 processes
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to analyse and improve workflow processes
  • Excellent interpretive skills
  • High degree of accuracy and numeracy
  • Good knowledge of computer applications and digital workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead through matrix working
  • Experience in Training with the ability to lead engagement sessions
  • Experience managing new services into BAU

Responsibilities:

– Support the timely delivery of multiple projects with multiple interdependent workstreams.
– Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operational processes relating to customer onboarding or project delivery.
– Proactively work with all areas of the business to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
– Engage with senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure successful project delivery.
– Create, develop and maintain high quality project management documentation
– Identify and escalate Risks as and when appropriate
– Ensure that change control procedures are adhered to
– Report progress to the DWT Programme Manager on a weekly basis
– Proactively manage external customer onboarding
– Contribute to the ongoing development of project standards and documentation within SYNLAB
– Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
– Support in the creation of customer facing documentation, including training materials
– Support with the management of a shared email inbox
– Create, develop and maintain comprehensive operational guidance.
– Source, organise and manage consumables required for service delivery
Write clear and concise communications and when required lead engagement sessions to support the successful delivery of new services / new customer onboarding
– Manage the transition of new services / new customer onboarding into business as usual (BAU) work
– Proactively seek feedback from all stakeholders to support the continuous improvement of new services / new customer onboarding
