Gorham Sand & Gravel (GSG) is seeking an assistant construction project manager to help manage projects ranging from small residential projects to large-scale commercial, municipal, or industrial jobs. Assistant project managers have an opportunity to learn and training will be provided.

Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Represents GSG at project meetings
  • Obtains and ensures compliance with necessary regulations and permits
  • Provide project submittals
  • Solicit and compare quotes for subcontracts and supplies
  • Work from 7:00AM to 5:00 M-F
  • Orders project materials to maintain schedule and workflow
  • Manages multiple projects
  • Communicates with clients and Project Managers to deliver monthly project progress reports and billings
  • Collaborates with engineers, subcontractors, and other specialists
  • Review and approve or deny project related expenses
