    RVA Restoration is looking for an Assistant Project Manager in the Richmond area that has a proven history of success in managing construction projects, exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit. Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the restoration process, including clients, subcontractors, and staff carpenters.
Resource and Schedule Management: Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure that restoration projects are completed on time. This may involve scheduling subcontractors, ordering
supplies, and coordinating equipment rental, and adjusting schedules as needed throughout the life of a project.
Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and timely
communication throughout the project lifecycle. Keep clients informed about project progress, address any concerns or questions they may have, and ensure their satisfaction with the restoration outcomes.
Team Leadership: Provide support to project teams, including subcontractors and field staff, to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that restoration work meets industry standards and client expectations. Conduct inspections of completed work, identify any deficiencies, and take corrective action as necessary.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols to protect both workers and occupants of the restored properties. Implement appropriate safety measures, provide necessary personal protective equipment, and conduct safety training for restoration personnel.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all aspects of the restoration project, including work performed, materials used, and communication with clients and stakeholders. Uphold project file integrity with project plans and schedules, detailed photos, subcontractor quotes and purchase receipts.
Problem Solving: Identify and address project-related issues and challenges in a proactive and timely manner, seeking solutions to
keep projects on track.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the
project management team.
