Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for individuals with acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions. We are a team of professionals committed to promoting recovery and enhancing quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to support our Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality neuropsychological services. This role involves a blend of clinical support, assessment, and administrative duties, contributing to the rehabilitation and progress of our patients.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The post holder will provide technical and clinical support for the Consultant Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologists as follows:

  • Assist with psychological assessments, including the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests under supervision.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualised rehabilitation and intervention plans.
  • Assist with the planning, organisation and running of therapy and rehabilitation groups.
  • Conduct behavioural observations and collect data for clinical audit and research.
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, effectively communicating patient progress and feedback.
  • Manage clinical data, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain the psychometric tool inventory.
  • Participate in service evaluations and attend relevant meetings within the unit.
  • Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights.
