WE ARE ALSO LOOKING TO RECRUIT BPS PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATES TO ASSISTANT PSYCHOLOGY POSTS.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic new colleagues to fill posts as an Assistant Educational Psychologist. We are looking to appoint as soon as possible. We are a group of dedicated and supportive EPs. You are invited to be part of a creative team committed to applying psychology in order to promote inclusion, emotional well-being and effective learning in children and young people. We are a team of experienced EPs, trainee EPs and Assistant Psychologists.
We are looking for colleagues who wish to support children and young people by applying psychology within a consultative approach, who can work successfully as a member of a close supportive team and make active contributions to systemic school improvement, team development and Local Authority initiatives.
The team offers a consultative plan do review model of service delivery which is managed through a time allocation system. Blackburn with Darwen are committed to maintaining quality relationships with schools and settings within the authority. The allocation and link EP approach is highly valued by our schools. We offer our schools the opportunity to purchase further sessions. There is also time for EYs work and 16 – 25. The EP team continues to play an important role across the local authority, for example, in developing person centred approaches, the EHCP and the Local Offer. Supervision (formal and informal) and CPD are an essential part of our team. Flexible working based in our EP office, with opportunities to work from home. We also have dedicated EP team business support.
For the positions you will need an enhanced DBS. Ability to travel around Blackburn with Darwen is also required.
For the Assistant psychology post you will need a BPS accredited Psychology degree.
