Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Earned Ph.D. in Engineering or Physical Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as demonstrated in written application materials.
- Experience in preparing funding proposals, experimental plans, and technical reports.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven interest in advanced energy technology.
- Innovative approach to energy technology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in academia, industry and/or national labs in the fields of electrolyzers and fuel cells.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following essential functions:
- Lead the theoretical and experimental research on fuel cells, electrolyzers, and batteries
- Develop innovative applied research concepts.
- Write reports and technical papers.
- Write and participate in the preparation of funding proposals.
- Travel to support project activities.
- Advise students and postdoctoral research associates
- Interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and project partners.
- Present project results to clients.
- Present papers at national and international conferences.
- Perform management duties for research and office.
