ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER (2TR - A1A & A2)

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• A Registered Engineer with BEM
• Not more than 10 -16 years of working experience in road/bridges works
• Preferably Senior Engineer specialized in Civil/Structural/Construction or equivalent
• Familiar with contract administration and drawing

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for administration of construction contract works and assist RE correspondences, submittals to contractors.
• Supervise and remain vigilant regarding all aspect of the construction activities. Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents.
• Assist RE, QS team and the contractor in regards of claims and preparation of PTIVO
• Review the contractor’s progress at all times to ensure that works on site are in accordance to the design intent.
• Attend progress meeting held at site as required by RE
