Description:

ChefSuite is an innovative pick-up and delivery-only ghost kitchen operator that aims to fuel the business-minded spirit and support restaurateurs by providing the tools to run their businesses at lower costs, reduced risks, and better margins. We are seeking a motivated Assistant Restaurant Consultant with excellent problem-solving skills in Austin, Texas to assist our tenants by analyzing revenue and expenses, collaborating on menu optimization, and providing recommendations to improve operational and management practices. This role is designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship under the guidance of an experienced Restaurant Consultant from another site, with the intention of transitioning into a full Restaurant Consultant role upon full occupancy and lease-up of the site.

  • Base Annual Salary: $58,000/year
  • Paid Time Off: Vacation (10 days/year), Sick (6 days/year), Holidays (6/year)

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Support the Senior Restaurant Operations Manager in all aspects of tenant management, including but not limited to onboarding processes, financial monitoring, marketing strategies, and operational evaluations.
  • Assist in monitoring tenant financials by analyzing the cost of goods sold (COGS), sales trends, and revenue generation, providing regular reports and updates to the mentor and senior management.
  • Participate in enhancing tenants’ delivery app performance by contributing to menu optimization efforts, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Evaluate tenants’ management practices and operational functionality, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement in areas such as staffing, kitchen layout, and operational efficiency.
  • Engage with tenants regularly to address inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively, fostering positive relationships and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
  • Maintain tenant technology platforms by logging, troubleshooting, and resolving site-related malfunctions and outages promptly, consulting with the Senior Tenant Operations Manager and Tenant Operations Manager, as needed.
  • Assist in communicating tenant satisfaction, success metrics, and lease compliance to senior management through regular reports and summaries.
  • Facilitate communication between tenants and property staff by assisting in the reporting and resolution of maintenance requests, complaints, and technical issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Previous restaurant management experience is required
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work independently
  • Must possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent time management skills.
  • Must be proficient in Google Workspace
  • A high school diploma and at least one year of restaurant management experience or a similar combination of education and experience is required.
  • Previous experience managing 3rd party delivery apps is required (DoorDash, UberEats, GrubHub, Deliverect, etc.).
